It’s the term we use when our tasks flex to fill up the available time.
It’s the anti-matter to productivity. Mostly because it indicates how much of our time we consume. It does not consider how efficient that consumption is or whether the outputs are useful.
It’s also a symptom. Where there is no compelling vision, filling time becomes acceptable. There is no coherent purpose so anything is valuable.
