When you are under pressure for time and need to grab a quick bite, it can be a lifesaver. This comes at a price. The cost of speed and convenience is the nutritional value and general taste. It’s a compromise we can afford to make some of the time.
When it’s the only solution we ever use, we nuke things that require slow-roasting. If ‘cooked’ is the only criteria it’s a roaring success. If palatable and nutritious is the goal we’ve fallen way short.
