It’s a habit.

Like all habits, we create it through repetition. Like all habits, the first time is the hardest. We don’t feel like fighting any more. The effort is too overwhelming. The chance of failure is too great.

Let’s get this straight, pushing through is not the same as winning. It’s the finishing that counts. The refusal to quit until the end, or until they carry you off the field. Over time, this may evolve to become victories.

For now, see it through.

Next time will be easier.
