If it was, the richest people in the world would be professors and Nobel prize winners.
Sadly, this is not the case. We don’t really care how smart you are or how high the quality of your thinking is. We care what you do. We care about the output. The proof is in the pudding. Actions speak louder than words, and theories, and models, and conceptual frameworks.
Do not be fooled into thinking this means actions are valuable. If that were true, everyone with a job would be on the Forbes list. The value lies in executing high-quality thinking in a way that makes it valuable for others.
Understanding it is important. So is knowing how to use it and then using it.
Very few people possess such abilities all by themselves.
