will invariably come. It might not feel that way right now. Isolated, bored, ill-equipped to deal with prolonged uncertainty. Questions of usefulness and purpose mount. Relational stress and pressure resulting from confinement or separation increase.
Confronting the true self, without all the paraphernalia and titles, raw and unfiltered is a challenging journey. Especially when it was not chosen or prepared for.
Despite all these unforeseen implications, we are learning, growing, maturing. We are offered a unique opportunity to embrace our realities and be better for it. It won’t necessarily change the course or the outcome. It will undoubtedly enable us to deal with it in a sustainable and hopeful way. This in and of itself is cause for celebration. Tomorrow will be better because you choose to make it so.
Your choice makes a difference.
