The new world of collaboration poses significant challenges to working culture. Organisations used to working in command and control or bureaucratic cultures are likely to encounter some challenges as they attempt to transition to new ways of work.

Trust is an essential ingredient in high-performance cultures. Even more so when geographic separation increases. It’s a very tricky thing to build and protect. Deeply ingrained shared values are the glue that keeps trust cultures together.

When there is a shared code to which people are held accountable, with appropriate, fair and transparent deliverables and responsibilities, this becomes possible.

The fastest way to break it, ambiguity and poor communication.
