Noise is the stuff we let in from outside. We don’t create it and therefore cannot define it’s nature, purpose, persistence or relevance. This can easily become distracting and all-consuming. Led by the agenda of others.
We control how much we let in. Noise-cancelling headphones or even old school earplugs do the trick when we need to study in less than ideal environments. Now, the biggest source of noise is not sound, but information, opinions and fear. It lingers in news feeds and social media bombarding us with polarised content.
Your unique value is hidden in what you inherently possess.
We discover it not in noise, but in silence.
