It’s the play by play. Knowing the final score is useful. Understanding how it unfolded is insightful.

It’s longer, more intense. It requires patience. A willingness to sit through the deadlocks, stalemates and doldrums. It also helps us to understand in depth far more than we could ever glean from the final outcome.

It can feel like a waste of time. The genius is in the process.
