Reality does not always unfold according to our planning. Certainly, we should plan as thoroughly as we can, and improve our accuracy over time. This we can control. The non-linear, erratic unpredictability of the future, however, is likely to remain outside our sphere of influence.
When it goes sideways, we can control our response. The objective is always to keep moving forward. This may require that we move back, go down to go up, leap instead of step, stop and wait instead of attempting to catch up.
In an environment that is non-linear, progress is also non-linear.
The way forward might not be in front of you, but it exists waiting to be discovered.
Our ability to do so rests on two key variables: Experience and Creativity.
