Shifting Weight

Every stride we take involves the shifting of weight from the foot that gained new ground to the foot being propelled forward for the next step. The implication is that we have to let go of the previous foothold in order to move forward.

Every step we take is a process of dying to the old and embracing the new. The cycle repeats indefinitely. So often though, in our businesses, we want to constantly move forward without letting go of our previous foothold.

Shifting your weight to the front foot is what creates the momentum for progress.

Are you willing to let go of the things that got you where you are?

It’s unlikely to get you to the next step.
