What you have to offer

You have one of two options. You could create something “me too”. It’s an option that exists but with your branding. This is quite easy. Figure out the recipe for what someone else is doing and copy it.

The end result will be decreased profits for everyone and a race to the bottom since the only differentiator is cost. (accepting that no competitive advantage remains for the incumbent). You will make some money for a little while like a leech sucking its host dry. Seems great, until the host dies and you hope you can find another one in time.

The alternative is to offer something only you can. It leverages your unique experience, value, perspective and skill set. It speaks to your purpose and your passion. It cannot be duplicated because it is uniquely yours.

Society has a way of making space for passion when that passion serves others.

It always will.
