As the saying goes. Expecting something different is insanity, Einstein apparently said.
This is true when causes and effects are clearly linked. The longer we stretch timelines, the harder it is to pinpoint cause and effect relationships. So many other variables contaminate the experiment.
Another critical flaw is that some ‘things’ are like battering rams. You knock the gate a couple of times and nothing seems to change. Next knock and the metal starts to cringe.
Sometimes, the ‘same thing’ becomes a different thing because you mixed in some consistency. Resilience makes many mediocre things, extraordinary.
Perhaps, the only ‘same thing’ you do, is quit.
