Priorities

It’s not always easy to determine. There are always more things that need doing than our ability, means or time to do it. This requires us to prioritise. We give preference to certain activities over others.

Making the right choice is critical.

The only way to ensure we do so is to create a framework that defines which activities take preference. Objectives help us define this. Knowing where we are headed and which outcomes we need to achieve to secure the future we hope to create is the primary tool in the pursuit of healthy priorities.

Instead of a hit and miss with ever-changing priorities and lack of focus, perhaps it’s time to define our objectives and make intentional choices to prioritise the future we hope to see.
