What will it cost you to get in? What sacrifices will you need to make to get this done?
Is it worth it?
The question is rarely how much it will cost. The question really is whether the benefits outweigh the costs. People will commit to crazy things if they believe it will be worth it.
Usually, though, this is hard to determine. Things that cost much scare off many people. The timeframe to returns creeps up increasing the uncertainty. It’s not a sure thing, or we cannot see far enough into the future to be comfortable.
The good news is, for the few who are brave enough, it will be worth it. For the simple reason that so few people do. The scarcity of the commitment is precisely what gives it value.
No need to be unnerved by high commitment costs. Everyone else is.
