It’s the calls that make history. They determine outcomes and write the future. They have no formula or method. They are ambiguous.

We’d prefer to have all the information before we made them. But then it wouldn’t be tough. Anyone can make the right call with all the info. Making the tough calls is the privilege of the brave and the well-trained.

It’s the domain of experience, of gut-feel. It’s also something you get better at by making them.

The hardest part is not being right. It’s making a decision.
