What a brilliant invention. It protects your child against the perils of driving and accidents. It saves lives. You buy it and use it, but hope you will never need it.

It’s a pain in the ass when kiddo is fussy in the car or screams the entire ride home. This is usually when we compromise and take the kid out of the seat. This negates the entire point.

It’s like governance. It’s a lot of extra effort and work. It consumes time and is inconvenient. You hope you never need it, but when you do, it’s worth the effort.

It doesn’t work when you only do it some of the time or when it’s convenient.

You either have good governance, or you don’t.
