Building roads in the wilderness

It’s expensive. It’s in the middle of nowhere. It doesn’t make much sense.

Then, something interesting happens. Small towns pop up along the road. Every so often to support the large groups of workers and their needs. Residents move in and the economy expands. Commerce develops and schools go up. Farmers gain access to closer markets.

Your project might seem ahead of its time. It probably is. What would happen if you did it anyway? Industries, markets, and businesses develop around the infrastructure and technology that exist. Someone must create it.

What road will you build?

Which wilderness can you take us into?

Go boldly.
