Napoleon Complex

Sometimes we fall short. We don’t measure up. We don’t meet the bar. This can be devastating. It’s even worse when you can’t do anything about it. Like when you are too short to take a ride at the theme park or get into the basketball team.

Mostly we can do something. Like a short surgeon standing on a platform because they cannot reach the table like everyone else. Then there are times when our stature has a very small impact like in jobs we tend to sit down or acting or jobs where everyone else is using a ladder anyway.

Our short reach only becomes a complex when we view it as a disadvantage. Your lack of business age, team experience, cash flow, and accolades might matter when you try out for the basketball team. Then, perhaps you should pick a different sport, or grow your business taller.

In most other cases, a ladder would suffice.
