It happens to all of us at some point on another. Your stage is the place where you have access to the attention of people. These days, it is a very hard thing to get. When we get it, we cannot afford to waste it.
Stage fright is our response to things we have done before, but with higher risk. On stage, the risk is high, the responsibility is high, the opportunity is high. It would not be fair to the audience if it wasn’t.
You spent time earning the right to their attention. It’s a precious commodity. High risk keeps you accountable.
Every time you market your business, you are on stage. You lay claim to the attention of people. Make sure you earn that attention. Make sure you deliver. Not just in what your product offers, but in return-on-attention (ROA). Not for you, but for your customer.
