There is this fine balance between winging it and becoming incapacitated with the certainty provided by information. Some of us are action centered and results focussed. Some of us like to be informed.
Both of these are excellent qualities. We need to get things done but we also need to know what we are doing. It’s like planning a trip to a place you have never been. You could just go and figure it out when you get there. Most of us check the weather, the language, the currency conversions, and public transport systems.
Some of us get so overwhelmed by the volume of stuff we don’t know that we decide to stay at home or go to our favourite vacation spot instead.
This tends to transpose into our businesses, especially sales.
