Sore Feet

Business growth is a priority for most entrepreneurs. We want to do more, faster, better.

It’s like training for an expedition. We learn to navigate on harsh terrain (competitive environment), we make our legs stronger (distribution model), and we strengthen our backs (production capacity). We do not often spend time taking care of our feet.

We expect our feet to get stronger as a consequence of all the other training and preparation. The feet get little thought until they fail us.

Our feet bare the weight of the body. They deal with the uneven terrain. They help to maintain our balance and keep us upright. They transfer energy into motion.

Our feet are our people. They don’t complain often, but they can break.

We call this burnout.
